What Does The Treatment Journey Look Like at M Dental?

1. Consultation

Your consultation gives you the opportunity to meet with our Orthodontist. They will have a relaxed discussion about your goals as well as assessing your suitability for treatment, along with what treatment option is best for you. 

2. Digital Scan

We need to take scans of your teeth. This is done with a 3D scanner to give us a clear visual understanding of your treatment options. 

3. Personalised Treatment Plan

After the consultation, reviewing your scans, discussing your lifestyle and factoring in your desired results we create a treatment plan. This details the most suitable options for you. 

4. Fitting or First Aligners

This step depends on your treatment option. If you opt for clear aligners, like Invisalign, you will receive your first set of aligners and we will discuss with you how to care for your teeth whilst using Invisalign. If you’ve opted for fixed braces you will begin your treatment with your braces being fitted. Like with clear aligners we will also discuss how to care for your teeth whilst your braces are fitted. 

5. Progress Appointments

Progress appointments are invaluable and necessary. This gives us the opportunity to check your progress, make adjustments and to ensure that everything is progressing. It is also an opportunity for you to ask us any questions. 

6. Completion and Smile Reveal

However with all options you start to see visible improvements after around 8 to 12 weeks.
